Focus on God

Sometimes in life we can become so busy with the stuff of life that at the end of the day we are left feeling a little empty. When you are running in a million different directions you are in need of the peace of God.   God promised that He would add peace to your life if you would do the following:

Prov 3:1-2

My son, do not forget my law, But let your heart keep my commands; For length of days and long life And peace they will add to you. NKJV

The Word of God says that when you remember the Word and keep it in your heart, God will give you length of days and He will add peace to you.  I don’t know about you, but I can always use more peace in my life.  The only qualification is to remember the Word.

Think about it when you are going through your day and being pulled in many directions; take a moment and remember the Word of God.  We have to learn to keep things in perspective.  All things we stress about are nothing when compared to eternity.  Today you might be frazzled running here and there, but it is all temporary.  Keep your heart focused on God, ask Him to help you, refuse to allow your life to be consumed with the details of life.  Look for His peace to come upon you and take refuge in Him!

 Isa 26:3

You will keep him in perfect peace, Whose mind is stayed on You, Because he trusts in You. NKJV

I encourage you to stop whatever it is you are doing today and ask the Lord to help you get your mind back on Him. Take time to remember all of the many promises found in the Word and let His peace come in!

As always, know that you are loved and cared for today, reach out to someone today and be a blessing!
