Hope Above Everything

The apostle Paul was such a great example for us to follow in life.  There are times in life when everything seems hard or difficult.  The apostle Paul talked about pressing into the things of God.

Phil 3:12-14
Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. NKJV

We can’t just sit back and be upset about every little thing in life; we must go forward and continue to press into the things of God.  If you want God to move in your life and to see results from your prayer life, you will have to learn how to press in.  Keep believing, keep speaking the Word of God even when things in the natural don’t look like they are changing.  Be like the woman with the issue of blood (Mark 5).  She pressed through the crowd to grab hold of the hem of His garment and received her healing.

Push through the stuff of this life, don’t allow things to discourage you, don’t start complaining about how hard life is but choose to press in, lean in and overcome it all.  Just as Paul finished his course with joy and the woman with the issue of blood got her healing, you too can press in and receive what belongs to you.

Make up your mind today that you are going to be one of those people who will press in.  Choose to keep your mind on God and His word and be an overcomer!

As always, know that you are loved and cared for today.  Reach out and be a blessing to someone and share the Good News of the Gospel with them.
