Dear Friends,
This week I was reminded of the story in Mark 5 where the Synagogue ruler had asked Jesus to come and heal his daughter who was dying. As the story unfolds while they are on their way, a woman with an issue of blood presses through the crowd and touches the hem of His garment and is healed. At the same time someone comes from the house of Jairus with news that it’s too late, his daughter is dead. I love the response that Jesus gives to Jairus at that moment.

Matt 4:18-20
And Jesus, walking by the Sea of Galilee, saw two brothers, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen. Then He said to them, “Follow Me, and I will make you fishers of men.” They immediately left their nets and followed Him. NKJV
The disciples heard the call and left their nets. Sometimes in life God will ask us to do something and we must be open to putting down what is in front us and be willing to go and do what He tells us.

Dear Friends,
Ps 63:1
O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You In a dry and thirsty land Where there is no water. NKJV
The Word of God talks about having a desire to seek the Lord. I realize that not everyone is a morning person and not everyone wants to get up to pray. I do not think it is as much a schedule thing as it is an attitude of wanting to worship and seek the Lord.
