Saved Through the Name of Jesus

Romans 10:13 “For whoever calls on the name of Jesus shall be saved.” NKJV

Salvation comes through the name of Jesus and Him alone.  When we speak His name or pray in His name we should understand the power that is associated with His name.  God has given us the right and privilege to speak His name and to ask in His name.

Mark 16:17-18

And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.” NKJV

These things are performed by people who believe in His name.  I encourage you to take some time today to think about the power that is in Jesus’ name. God wants you to have this power available in your life and He has given you permission to use the name of Jesus.

John 14:13-14

And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it. NKJV

Pray and ask in the name of Jesus and see what good things God will do in your life.

Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him. NKJV

Speak the name of Jesus today and tap into the power of God.

Blessings,
Pastor Bob

Making Time for God in Your Life

Proverbs 4:20-23 My son, give attention to my words; Incline your ear to my sayings. Do not let them depart from your eyes; Keep them in the midst of your heart; For they are life to those who find them, And health to all their flesh. Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life. NKJV

The Word of God says that we must give our attention to the His Words.  It’s interesting that in life we make time for just about everything that we want to.  Yet when you talk to some people about spiritual things, they always have some kind of excuse for why they don’t read their Bible, pray, or go to church.
