Setting Roots

When we first started renting the buildings on Manitou Road, there were many improvements that were needed. We renovated our kids building, which at the time was the main sanctuary, we also added on a small addition doubling the size of the main sanctuary. As the church began to grow, we rented more and more space in the buildings and grew to serve more and more of the community.

VCC-historyCollege & Calling

After graduating from Rhema Bible College in Tulsa OK in May of 1992 my wife and I came back to the Rochester area to pioneer a church. In September of 1992 we began to meet in a banquet hall of a local restaurant.

We had a handful of people and started with nothing but faith in our hearts and a desire to help people. We stayed at the banquet hall for the first 8 months and then moved to the a grange hall for a few months and eventually to the property at 1619 Manitou Road

Welcome Home

In the spring of 2000, we had the opportunity to purchase the property and it was a tremendous blessing to the church. Today, we are still located at Manitou Road, yet we own 5 buildings on 4.5 acres of land. God has been faithful to us as a church in providing for all of our needs and we continue to honor Him in all we do, every day – even all these years later.
